Multihand Blackjack Pro Review
I have wondered what the home life of a person who became a pirate đ´ââ ď¸đŚ mustâve been like. I suppose he wouldnât have gotten many hugs or praise, or maybe he was positively reinforced when he set fire to things or poked another kidâs eye out?
Take Blackbeard, for example. What childhood trauma caused this dude to weave slow-burning fuses into his beard, which created a smoke cloud around his head during battle? đĽ
So, young Edward Teach clearly wasnât dumb; in fact, Iâd go so far as to say he was a marketing genius. His adversaries thought him the Devil đ, and who wants to go toe to toe with the cloven-hoofed one?
For our next game, weâre going to size up Multihand Blackjack Pro from BGAMING and see how it stacks against regular Blackjack games, coz this one does things a little different.
Gameplay
Thereâs no point talking about this gameâs design coz you get a table, some cards, and chips â after all, what else do you need? You can play on up to 3 stations at a time, which is sweet.
The game uses 6 decks of cards, and theyâre shuffled on each round. Blackjack â for you newbies out there â consists of a two-card draw that equals 21, with one of the cards being an Ace, and the other a ten-value card.
The Dealer always stands on 17, including a soft 17. Payouts look like this:
- Winning hand: 1 to 1
- Blackjack: 3 to 2
- Tied hands: Push
Thereâs not much in the way of Autoplay or favorites here, but you can hit REBET to place the same bet for each round, so at least that cuts down on the effort somewhat.
Iâm gonna run through the stats real quick so we can get to the unique selling point: the Bonus Bet. The RTPRTP stands for âReturn to Player.â The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a gameâs volatility rate. is 99.40%, and the volatility is low to medium.
The max multiplier is 2x to 2.5x (the latter is for Blackjack). As for the Bonus Bet (and Iâll describe how this works in the features section), it goes as follows:
- 2 Jack of Spades 101x
- Pair of Jacks: 26x
- First card Jack: 11x
Now onto the max win. This is how it pays out:
- Main bet only: $875 (3 hands = $2,625)
- Side bet: $35,350 (3 hands = $106,500)
- Combined: $36,050 (3 hands = $108,150)
If you want to give this game a go on your mobile phone, youâll have no choice but to play in landscape mode. And when you see it, itâll make perfect sense coz you can see the table clearly, and the controls are easy to use.
Features
BONUS BET:
You can place a Bonus Bet on the outcome of the first two cards that youâre dealt (for each of your 3 seats, if youâre playing on multiple ones). Bonus Bets must be placed after a regular bet but prior to any of the cards having been dealt.
You win the Bonus Bet if your first hand is a Jack or if your first two cards is a pair of Jacks. After the Bonus Bet is settled, youâll go straight into regular play. As for the payouts, Iâve listed these above (up to 101x ainât too shabby!).
Performance
Testing across my various devices revealed no flaws, glitches, snafus, or other gremlins.
Maximum Win
Please see the above for more details, but hereâs a synopsis:
- Max Multiplier: 2x to 101x
- Max Win: $875 to $108,150
As for betting, this is how we roll in this game:
- Main bet: $0.50 to $350 per seat (max 3 seats)
- Bonus: $0.50 to $350 (canât exceed main bet value)
Conclusion
So the thing about playing multiple hands is that each hand is exposed to the same house edge, and it takes a larger bankroll to keep all of them going. Add to this a Bonus Bet on one to three hands, and youâre in for a bit more than you mightâve usually done.
On the flip side, you could, of course, have 3x more chance at winning and this could reduce short-term swings.
As we donât have the exact odds when it comes to the Bonus Bets, we can only work on assumptions, which Iâm loath to do. However, it would appear that the Bonus Bets would cost more and bring in less than regular bets. But as I say, this is speculation.
