Well if you like peeing in your pants with fright, I highly recommend that film. The movie centers on how the belief in Voodoo is critical to it working.
Practised by tens of millions of people “who do that voodoo so well", this mixture of Roman Catholicism and African magic has significant elements of sorcery and possession.
It's for that reason that I WILL ONLY SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT IT!
The last thing I need is a Voodoo doll of me being pricked every time I write a review about a game with this freaky religion as a theme. I mean – I got enough aches and pains already. Come to think of it maybe someone is sticking a pin in a likeness of me already! I thought it was old age, but this theory makes a lot more sense!
Voodoo is a video slot by Endorphina designed to frighten you on P.Cs, mobile devices and tablets. If the theme appeals to you, see a psychologist immediately because this slot is dark, sinister and scary as hell. I was playing it during the middle of the day at the office but still felt a disconcerting queasiness.

Gameplay

One would expect Voodoo to be a volatile slot and it doesn't disappoint with 5 reels and only 10 paylines. This means longer waits for wins, but bigger wins when they do arrive!
The symbols are all equally terrifying: snake, jaguar, voodoo doll of me with pins in, raven, 10-Ace spider webs and priestess. This nightmare inducing collection is joined by the Voodoo priest who serves as both the scatter and the wild, able to substitute for all symbols in regular play.
The controls are crisp and clean but perhaps don't fit the theme as well as they could. At the top: Credit Display and Info. At the bottom: Bet, Lines, Total Bet, Last Win, Turbo, Autospin and Spin.
Its worth noting that in the info section there are some advanced Autospin options which will stand strategic players in good stead.

Features

After each winning spin in regular play you get the chance to Gamble your profits. Pick a higher card than the dealer and your winnings are doubled, but if you fail, you lose them. A nice aspect is that the joker beats all other cards and the dealer can never get the joker!

Performance

The graphics are brilliant – but that doesn't mean I like them! Personally, they were a bit too frightening for me, but I am a self-admitted coward. The music and sound effects have a sense of foreboding which enhanced both the theme and my fear. Performance wise it cast a successful spell on all devices I tested, performing flawlessly.

Conclusion

If you like quivering in a heap of fear, then this slot is for you!
Perhaps if like me, you enjoy great Free Spins and are prepared to spin while peeking through your fingers (also like me), then this is also worth a try.
Just a word of warning though – I can't imagine (and don't want to) how scary Voodoo must be at night, so please play with the lights on and a watchful eye for trouble.
